Antwren

The Antwren bird family, part of the Thamnophilidae, is a diverse group of small, insectivorous birds found primarily in the Neotropical regions of Central and South America. Known for their distinctive vocalizations and dynamic foraging techniques, these birds typically inhabit dense undergrowth in forests and woodland areas. With over 200 species, Antwrens exhibit a variety of plumage patterns and colors, which often serve as camouflage against predators. Their diet mainly consists of insects and other small arthropods, which they skillfully glean from leaves and bark.
