Frigatebird

Frigatebirds are large, graceful seabirds known for their impressive wingspans, which can exceed 2 meters, and their distinctive forked tails. Males are famous for their red throat pouch, which they inflate like a balloon to attract mates during the breeding season. These birds are superb aerialists, often seen soaring effortlessly over tropical oceans, and they rarely land on water. Instead, they snatch prey such as fish and squid from the ocean surface or steal catches from other seabirds mid-flight—a behavior known as kleptoparasitism.
