Frigatebird

The Frigatebird family, Fregatidae, is a group of seabirds renowned for their impressive aerial abilities and striking appearance. These birds are characterized by their long wings, forked tails, and distinctive red throat pouches, which the males inflate during courtship displays. Primarily found in tropical and subtropical oceans, frigatebirds are exceptional gliders, capable of staying aloft for weeks without landing. They are often observed engaging in kleptoparasitism, stealing food from other seabirds. Despite their prowess in the air, frigatebirds are unable to swim or walk well, relying on their aerial skills to catch food and evade predators.
