Quail

The Quail bird family, scientifically known as Odontophoridae, comprises small to medium-sized terrestrial birds commonly found in the Americas. Characterized by their stout, rounded bodies and short tails, quails are known for their distinctive calls and rapid, whirring flight. These birds are ground-dwellers, often seen foraging in groups on the forest floor or open grasslands, feeding on a diet of seeds, insects, and small invertebrates. Quails are also popular in game bird hunting and are raised for their meat and eggs. Their unique adaptation to diverse habitats makes them a fascinating subject for bird enthusiasts and ornithologists alike.
