Seal

The seal family, scientifically known as Pinnipedia, encompasses a diverse group of marine mammals that are adept at life both in water and on land. This family includes true seals, sea lions, and walruses, each distinguished by their unique adaptations. True seals, or earless seals, lack external ear flaps and are adapted for efficient swimming with their streamlined bodies and rear flippers. Sea lions, on the other hand, have visible ear flaps and larger front flippers, which allow for greater maneuverability on land. Walruses are notable for their long tusks and whiskers, which are used for digging and sensing their environment. Seals are found in various habitats around the world, from the icy waters of the Arctic and Antarctic to temperate and even tropical regions.
