Goral

Gorals are small to medium-sized ungulates belonging to the family Bovidae, primarily found in the rugged mountainous regions of Asia. These sure-footed mammals are adapted to steep, rocky terrains, possessing a stocky build, short legs, and a dense coat that provides insulation against harsh climates. Gorals typically exhibit a shy demeanor, preferring solitude or small groups, and are known for their impressive climbing skills, which aid in evading predators and foraging for food. With several species within the genus Naemorhedus, gorals are of particular interest to conservationists due to habitat loss and hunting pressures in some regions.
