Gundi

Gundis are small, herbivorous rodents native to the rocky deserts of North Africa. They belong to the Ctenodactylidae family, which is characterized by their stout bodies, short limbs, and furry, bushy tails. Gundis are well-adapted to their arid environment, with behaviors and physical features that help them conserve water and regulate body temperature. These social animals are known for their communal living habits, often seen basking in the sun on rocky outcrops. Despite their resilience, gundis face threats from habitat destruction and climate change.
