visited marievale yesterday 23/05/10,the entrance road is washed away and getting worse,the section next to the low level bridge is completeyly destroyed by the big trucks and the rather extensive rainfall.the roads are passabale but need to be careful.the top section by the duiker hide is closed to vechiles and you can only go thru on foot.bad for me as i would have to lug tri pods and cameras around.i visited the south section and had a pretty good visit. i had a man and his two sons[very young] visit while i was i the hide [beginners] they where pretty rowdy but the younger they start the better for them is my take on rowdy youngsters. saw some police vans when i arrived so was happy to see a police presence...
