I heard a rumor or two of a mugging? I spoke to Andre Marx last night at the meeting of the Dainfern Nature Association. He said that there were two incidents of cyclists outside the reserve having a bicycle stolen. There have been no incidents inside northern farm and what was very reassuring to hear was that to prevent anything getting out of hand, preemptive measures in the significant upgrading of security makes me feel better than ever about the future of the reserve. The fact that there are now constant foot patrol security guards in the reserve... Well done to all managing the place.
Andre promised to show me where he thinks the Long-crested Eagles are nesting. Looking forward to that...
