I've decided to post my attempts at the 100 birds for 2010 on my Multiply website so that my friends and family around the world can also see them.

We've both been very busy this year, me with starting my own business (refurbishing and selling old computers) and Mariana with her full time job and starting her own business (catering for 'themed' dinner parties in peoples' homes), so our opportunities to go out birding have so far been non-existent. Our last birding trip was Roodeplaat back in November! So, I'm starting off with birds seen in and around our garden. Only five so far but I'll take more as and when the opportunity arises. Here's the link (remember to click 'zoom in' if you want to see them full size):

Thanks Doug. Up to 15 species now and still haven't gone more than 10m from the front door! We got excited the other day as we heard a Diederick Cuckoo calling somewhere close by, but sadly it didn't make an appearance. We just don't get cuckoos round here (not enough mature trees) so that would have been a real treat.
