Yikes, for a moment I thought you had flipped over to the dark side!!

That canon lens is a bomb!!! Since I got mice it stays on my camera 80% of the time because my other two lenses are "why bother" consumer zooms. (Why bother buying a DSLR if you are going to stick that junk on the end ). I find I use mine just as often for portraits as I do for tiny stuff.

I am now a converted prime lens freak.

Do the mice do the auto focusing for you?

I must say I was blown away by what the lens can do and that at a reasonable price!!!!

The temptaion has been there to purchase "other" lenses, but have decided to be patient and spend my money on decent glass. It used to be quantity over quality, but now it is quality over quantity (refering to species).

So when are we going to see some posts of the "tiny stuff" from you?

Cheers,
Justin

Until I got my 1D MKIIn I thought all Canon AF was performed by mice on a "hamster wheel"

I must be suffering from a rodent ulcer or something.... Or perhaps I should read through things before I post. Unless it really was a mouse that escaped from the lab, and ran across the keys, causing me to type mice instead of mine.

Never the less, enjoy the camera and lens, and have a good weekend.
