Here are some butterfly photos I took on our last trip to WSBG. I've tried my best to ID them from the Lepsoc WSBG species list but please feel free to correct any that are wrong!

African Leopard - phalantha aethiopica



African Migrant - catopsilia florella (Female)







African Migrant - catopsilia florella(Male)



Twin Dotted Border - mylothris rueppellii haemus

You got the ID's right (well me who does not have a guide book with him at the moment).

Now when are you joinging Lepsoc.

I think I need to get the hang of how to ID a bird before I can even contemplate trying to ID butterflies! Because I have that PDF list of all the species found at WSBG, I usually try to ID the ones I photograph there but I'm clueless anywhere else. Maybe one day...
