Birds at Beal is located on the Northumberland coast of north-east England looking out over the causeway out to Lindisfarne (Holy Island). I was there last Sunday and these are some of the birds that I saw.

Barbary Falcon from the Mediterranean through to the steppes of Central Asia



Harris's Hawk from the mountains of western South and North America



the New Zealand Falcon



the more familiar Peregrine Falcon, this one a female



Red-tailed Hawk of North and Central America and the Caribbean



and to finish, and totally unrelated to the foregoing, a UK bird that I have failed to get decent photos of until this weekend...
