There is some overlap of exotic species at the London, Arundel and Washington WWT wetland centres, but each has some that are not found at the other two. This post is of those species that I had not seen before at either London or Arundel.

Chilean Flamingo - adult and immature

a South American species - Bronze-winged Duck

one from Madagascar - Meller's Duck

West Indian Whistling Duck

one from New Zealand - Paradise Shelduck, male and female

the Eurasian Ruddy Shelduck

the central Asian Bar-winged Goose

That's my new ones. To finish one that is very familiar and I had to go to north-east England to get one of my best photos of a White-faced Whistling Duck <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon/eek.gif" alt="" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->

and if this female Red Shoveler hadn't dipped her beak in the water I might have been able to invert the image!
