Now some more interesting birds, kingfishers, toucans, trogons and parrots.

female Amazon Kingfisher - [Ibera]; in size it compares with a Giant Kingfisher

male Ringed Kingfisher - [Ibera]; also compares with a Giant Kingfisher

a couple of male Green Kingfisher - [Ibera]; Pied Kingfisher size

The common toucan around the Iguassu Falls area is the Toco Toucan

The most likely to be seen of the smaller toucans is the Chestnut-eared Aracari

I was fortunate to see this male Surucua Trogon at Iguassu. They normally skulk around the forest and despite the colours are difficult to find.

Parrots come in different sizes....

..from the large Scaly-headed Parrot - [Iguassu]

to the Brown-headed Parrot sized Monk Parakeet - [Ibera]

and the lovebird sized Blue-winged Parrotlet - [Iguassu]
