womans day a great opportunity to get out,however marievale was packed in fact i have never seen it like that,got to meet quite a few people and spread the word about simply birding.here some pics. a lifer for me at marievale was this sentinel rock thrush just past the west entrance on my way out.

great images and well done on the Sentinel Rock Thrush, very unusual habitat to pick them up in :D But I know a female was seen at Rietvlei NR last week so perhaps they all on the move.

Your warbler looks a little like Lesser Swamp Warbler?
