Alot of birds i have never seen at rondebult have made an appereance there. I believe due to the fact that Percy from PSSA and Friends Of Rondebult put about 8000 fish in the pans about 18 months ago have attracted these birds. A mornings birding will give you a list of about 60 birds which is a lot better than i was getting a while ago.here are a few my rondebult lifers.
Hamerkop

Giant Kingfisher

African Rail

Three banded plover

great crested grebe

this cape wagtail is not new just interesting in the fact it has no tail.

Hi Warren,

I love the photo of the Three-banded Plover. The photo is sharp and the best of all is that the bird has 'a light in the eye' (sun reflecting on the eye) which gives the plover 'life'.
