gordon created the topic: Cape Reed Warbler (I think)
Since I am very rusty on my calls, I may have got my ID incorrect...

Unless someone points out otherwise I am calling this a Cape Reed Warbler:

Let's just say he was performing for the camera... it's just the operator of the camera that may need to improve his reaction times and skill levels...

Cheers,
Gordon

Would that be Kaapse Rietsanger (Lesser Swamp-warbler)?
I'm assuming you took these pics at Marievale? Saw and heard quite a lot of them around during my visit on June 4th.

Thanks guys. Yes it was at Marievale. I could never remember the old names so I am completely lost after the change over... I think I will just wait until someone decides to change the names back again... :-)

Here is another picture also from Marievale, taken heading towards the bus stop hide (he kept running up to the car... I am almost sure he was begging?), the only difficult part was that he was always on the sun side, so I had to try and get the shot pointing the lens almost directly into the bright afternoon light:

Ja, that is quite nice. Even with the sun in the wrong place.
Didn't see any of them around on our visit.
