Stayed at Hazyview from Monday to Sunday, spent most of the time in the Kruger. Kruger was very busy, especially on Saturday (did Blyde River Canyon on Friday). Probably the last time I would go to Kruger on the Easter weekend. A little quiet bird and game wise. Spent most of the time between Skukuza, Lower Sabie and Pretoriuskop The more notable birds included 5 species of stork, Ground Hornbill, Brown-headed Parrot, Grey Cuckooshrike and Scarlet-chested Sunbird. No lion but saw lots of elephants and a leopard. The bird of the trip was definitely the Taita Falcon and the only other notable birds around Byde were Drakensburg Prinia (God's Window) and Lanner Falcon (Three Rondavels). On the way back went to Kaapsehoop in hope the Blue Swallows were still there. Enos (0723311197), the local guide tried extremely hard to find them but unfortunately it seems they had already left.
