Hi Jo-anne,

Have you considered a juvenile Olive Bush-shrike. That said, it could also be a juvenile Gorgeous Bush-shrike as the two are quite similar when youngsters. Even Roberts VII has the same illustration for juveniles!!!

Dave,
I would be inclined to go Gorgeous Bush-shrike due to the green upperparts but the tail should be black or is this not absolute?

Dave I just checked my bird book and I see what you mean.
Yes, I think it is definitely one of the 2 bush-shrikes, which one...... we'll never know :D
